NESHAP for RICE – 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ
CK has performed hundreds of emissions tests to assist clients demonstrate compliance with the requirements contained in the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE) as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations under 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ.
Subpart ZZZZ scopes of testing include the use of EPA reference test Methods 3A and 10 contained in 40 CFR 60 Appendix A. Generally, three 60-minute test runs are performed. CO & O2 concentrations are measured at the inlet and outlet of the catalyst to determine control efficiency and CO emissions concentration (ppm CO @ 15% O2).
